Hello Sabine
I hope you have a very happy birthday, and many many surprising blooms.
Hello Ernst
I wish you a happy birthday and good health.
Many good crosses. According to our results, it will give lighter color on the F1 when the mother is E.subdenudata.
And I have seen an Asterix hybrid with a very short spines like the E.subdenudata hybrid, good luck. The flower is alike the Asterix indeed.
Wow, there will be many super flowers from your creation!
very good report!
If you crossed them?
Wow , so many nice flowers!
Upper yellow is Altena×RL.2014.1434 with short spines, all 4 bloomed plant with short spines from this cross are yellow flower.
1)L.winteriana is a wonderful parent. So does her hybrid plants.
2)Gräsers Schönste, Erfolg are very dominaint on shape and color.
3)Pseudolobivia hybrids are lack of yellow color.
4) L.tigeliana might be a gene pool for very freely flowering.
I forgot this one is the Nr.? Bloomed, but it seems to be a 22cm flower, what a surprise!
2nd one represented her beauty. 16cm flower, now she has new flower buds. At the day she bloomed, there is Altena bloomed too, so a cross Altena × RL.2014.1434 is done.
1st one to bloom. 17cm diameter

Hello Ernst
According to my experience, the normally LED tube will lose brightness when long time goes. That is the common LED tubes' behavior. but there is a way to identify it.
As these Aquarium LED lamps, they will reduce the power of the LED cell to protect them for a long life. The seller said the Aquarim LED lamps can last 30 thousand hours without LED failure( the lamp gets darker). As I known, the Aquarium LED all are reduced to 0.33 watts per LED cell, but the LED cell is 0.5 watts rated power. That LED is the larger sized LED, it was called the 5730 LED in China for its size length 5.7mm and width 3.0mm. But the normally LED tubes use 2835 LED cell (length 2.8mm width 35mm) it might be 0.5 watts per LED cell, it has a short lifespan.
I am using a bare LED panel, no cover on it for my waterlily seedlings, it seems no problem.
